Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A Sorry, but LOL. You got sucked in by the advertising on this one too. I had a Fitbit and it wore out. Then I could not pass up the hype and price on this piece of junk.Mine just kept making a noise and turning off.I have a Garmin Vivos now. You get what you pay for...... The Garmin is FANTASTIC. Great interface for info with the app on my smartphone. Almost, too much info.
  2. A The round flat kind, cant remember it's number, sorry
  3. A Yes but you have to set what you want your high and low to be. I would not buy this product if your thinking about buying it. It's battery always needs to be changed and it's uncomfortable around chest and wrist when your trying to workout. Basically it's been useless to me. I'm going with a different product you may want to also.
  4. A Mine shows pounds and to the right kg in smaller font
  5. A I had to adjust the "H" (high or Max heart rate) & "L" (low or resting heart rate) settings to stop the constant beeping. If my heart rate is resting I am nt exercising and certainly not wearing the watch and if I am, I would want to know if my heart rate is at max so that I can ease off some.
  6. A I'm not help. The heart rate function on the watch I bought didn't work at all...never registered my heart rate.
  7. A No skin. Contact the chest strap does. The watch actually works after you take it off
  8. A It only has one alarm. The sensors on the chest strap cover 11 inches, so I don't think it would work for small children. The watch itself could be carried if the strap is too large, as it likely would be for young children.
  9. A The strap goes around your chest
  10. A The belt is adjustable but I'm not sure how adjustable it is. I'm not plus size but my upper body is above average and it fits me with room 2 spare
  11. A Yes! It includes the heart rate belt and fitness watch
  12. A Yes! You can change the batteries in the band and watch. Very easy! The batteries compartments are located at the back of both parts. For the band, you must insert a coin into the slit on the back. For the watch, you must have a small precision screwdriver to remove the back cover. I had open heart surgery in June 2014 and it works just fine for my cardio-vascular workout program.
  13. A I am currently having problems setting mine as well. When I set the calorie burn a few mins later it reset itself. I'm sorry I can't be of any help, I am not too happy with this product.
  14. A Hola, ese tipo de prueba no lo he realizado, por lo tanto no puedo dar respuesta a tu pregunta.
  15. A I have no clue. Bought the watch for my wife she put her info in like it states and it has worked without a problem.
  16. A http://www.manualsearcher.com/pyle/phrm38/manual/
  17. A Make sure that word "hi" or "lo" is not flashing when setting up the zone.I have low set up on silent but high with beep
  18. A Yes it comes with the chest strap monitor. I have also found that, by accident, that monitor operates on the same transmission frequency, to the wrist display unit, that is used by Life Fitness treadmills. I get automatic heart rate display from our treadmill.
  19. A Yes. It will not calculate the calories burned without the stopwatch running. If you stop the watch, the calorie counting also stops. Hope this helps
  20. A You are doing everything right. This heart rate monitor is only going to last about 3 months if that. Sometimes it will not pick up your heart rate and other times it will say your heart rate is over 200
  21. A Yes you have to wear the belt to track your calories burned.
  22. A No. Just heart rate. The chest band connects with other exercise equipment as well.
  23. A Yes both the watch and band need to be used together.
  24. A Hold watch so you can read the face. Push lower LH button(Mode) until you see the stopwatch function(6 pushesstarting from clock mode) the face will be displaying 0': 00"...Now push Lower RH button (Set) ONLY once..voila,you can now read your 'calories burnt'(sic) on the face of the watch. It is NOT difficult.
  25. A Yes, it has a chest strap that syncs with the watch.
  26. A Yes, it's how it reads your heart rate
  27. A I don't know if they sell just the strap but don't believe there is any real special "link" between the strap and the specific watch. I replaced my watch with a different Pyle model and the strap works with the new watch. It also works with my lifecycle bike which picks up my heart rate from the strap.
  28. A No this one doesn't count steps either
  29. A So far I have learned that the beeping is measuring your heart rate and stops when you take the belt off. I wear the watch to physical therapy without the belt and there's no beeping. Hope this helps. I'm still learning about the watch myself. :-)
  30. A The watch does not need batteries. If you push the mode button, it should turn on. If not, the instruction sheet should provide some assistance.
  31. A Hello! Sorry for the late response. The details do say it is "water resistance: 33 feet/10 meters/1 ATM". I have not tried it in water though. Hope this helps.
  32. A Water resistant
  33. A I am about 38" where the strap lays, and I say it would easily fit up to 50".
  34. A To see calorie count, go to the stop watch mode. Hit start, this will also start the cal counting. To see how many you've burned hit the right bottom button twice which will pause and then switch you to the calorie screen and show the number. To resume your workout/the stop watch hit the top right start button again. The little number under the time is your heart rate
  35. A No. It doesn't do either of those things. Overall the watch is a waste of money. My advice is to stick to a brand you know and trust and if your really serious about using this type of watch I'd pay a little extra for one. I have returned this and bought the new balance brand for 20$ more. Hopefully it goes better
  36. A It does take a little getting used to! Have you tried a Google search to find the website and maybe find the manual?
  37. A This particular model just gives you the heart rate. Most cardio equipment at gyms will work with the chest strap that comes with this model, so you don't even need to wear the receiver (watch) to get info, just look at the equipment display. If you're a serious road runner, however, you'd be better off purchasing a top-of-the-line Polar.
  38. A If you look at the bottom of the page on the model you requested it does have zone settings, all in that category with the exception of the PHRM84 . copy the attached link, the detail of these are on the bottom of the page.http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-Sports-PHRM38BK-Monitor-Walking/dp/B004RQWYDO/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1354590772&sr=1-1&keywords=PHRM38BK
